Lingua Latina

Course Description:

This 32-week course introduces middle and high school students to Latin through the immersive, reading-based approach of Hans H. Ørberg’s Lingua Latina per se Illustrata: Familia Romana. Students will follow the daily life of a Roman family while building vocabulary, mastering basic grammar, and developing reading fluency. The course emphasizes comprehension over translation, using contextual clues and repetition to foster natural language acquisition.
